Storing files online is not a new method or technology? it's just easier and more practical in today's society. No matter where we are, the Internet surrounds us in our homes, at work and throughout the stores we commonly visit. As such, our society has become intertwined with Internet technologies and its abilities.
Storing files on the Internet makes sense, as long as it's secure and part of our daily lives. The most common reason to store files online is for backup purposes. I?m sure we can all relate to losing files because our computer crashed or files were accidentally deleted. Another reason would be to share a file with others local and/or globally. It?s much easier to send people a link to a file, rather than sending a file insecurely across the Internet to a mailbox that may not be able to accept it.
